Capital 1 Appeal Successful

Hi everyone

just had a call from someone in the appeals dept @ Capital 1 to say they are overturning the decision to just give me 6 months @ 0% and I will be recieveing the T & C for the 18 months @ 0%

A right royal result !!!!

I wrote and appealed as in my opinion there was no reason to not offer me the card I applied for (18 months @ 0%)

Sent in credit score from experian , last 3 monthly wage slips
a stinking letter letting them know I was not happy and would not be accepting thier 6 month offer , a copy of the offer on the promotional leaflet enclosed also( as I was advised no such offer exists)

guy asked a few questions like

How long in particular employment ?, confirm our income ?
have we had any problems paying people back in the last 3 years ?

said no problem you will be sent your card within 7 days days after signing the T & Cs

anyone who feels they should have got the card too and got offered something else in its place may want to do the same

I guess there was no mention of credit limit?

I am in the same boat, got a letter all typed out but not posted yet. I don't have a copy of any credit report but am more than happy to send copies of my wage slips etc if it helps my case.

yep no mention of credit limit

but i did mention on the letter I sent I had high limits on 4 other cards and named them all

I rang them up and was given a ball park figure of the credit limit when i applied.He wouldn't come right out and say it,but when i told him the limit on my other card it was then he said you would be looking at another £x on top of that
