House prices only ever go up. Buy now!0 -
I've got my fiver on 'no change' on Betfair. I had imbibed before I put the bet on though. I reckon my fiver isn't lost yet.
Peversely, interest rate expectations keeping the pound high reduces the need for higher interest rates!

Batten down the hatches, its going to be a rough ride. Hell, 1989 is going to seem like a walk in the park.
Economies will collapse, civilisation as we know it will end, anarchy in the streets, inflation will run wild at 1600000000%, oil will be $400 a barrel before we know it.
The ozone layer will completely collapse, government will fall and the NHS will shut its doors.
Hey, who do I sound like? Any guesses?0 -
Hmmm... just keep an eye on Iran...0
