'the computer won't accept that' is at best a simplification.
In general, the whole of the form can be typed, with little or no input from the pre-set forms.
You should absolutely not wait until you have the decision.
Phone up the DWP (on the number on your letters) if it's been a couple of days, and ask for a copy of the medical report.
If the report is inaccurate enough, you may want to consider both a complaint to ATOS, and perhaps even a complaint to the persons professional body (the nursing and midwifery council, for example).
http://www.nacc.org.uk/downloads/disability/adultguide.pdf may clarify your mind on the possible avenues for arguing that the descriptors apply.
(THIS IS NOT FOR ESA, but some bits are quite relevant).
The ESA descriptors you must meet for WRAG are:
http://www.tameside.gov.uk/esa/wca#LCW
and for the support group:
http://www.tameside.gov.uk/esa/lcwra
Do you suffer problems with continence?
ESA can have problems with conditions that 'just' cause pain and fatigue, as the descriptors do not well capture them, and though the full guidance and caselaw is considerably more friendly to these sorts of conditions, it may not be applied properly.0 -
