I have just got a new Dell PC with Windows Vista. I would like to buy
a new printer - one that does colour, can print on A4 pages as well
as photo sized. A friend said to buy an Epsom one as they are cheap
for catridges. Is this the best make to aim for , and can you recommend
any models , any other manufacturers, best places places to buy printers etc.
Also what does 'All-in-one' mean when talking about printers.
One last thing , I would like to spend less than £40 if this is possible.

i've had various epson printers for many years, now on a dx3800 all in one..this means the unit can print/copy/scan/fax paid around £50 for mine & cartridges cost me around £8 per set, some people will say the quality of non epson carts are not as good..but i've had no problems for many years & use printer for digital photos etc
Have a look here this is a firm i've used for many years if you give em a ring they'll help you decide the best

As above, Epsons are good. I have a DX6000 and have had others in the past and they all worked great.0

£40 for an epson all in one might be very difficult.
the entry level d78 epson colour printer only is in the region of £30-40
and the Dx4000 (all in one entry level) is in the region of £55 upwards.
Aye cheap inks in the long run but the initial cost for the printer may be more than say a lexmark or HP which have vastly expensive inks and not as many makers doing compatibles.
And by the way...Epsom is in Surry.
Epson make printers.
Sorry, something that gets on my nerves cos I hear customers mispronounce it every day at work.:: No Unauthorised Links in Signatures please - FM ::0
