Natwest Rejected in June - no repeat application in <6months...can I try RBS

I applied for a Natwest 0% purchases card in mid June this year and got rejected (no obvious reason why, but got an M&S card with £3500 accepted shortly after).
My virgin credit cards 0% on purchases promotional period has ended so I am looking for something of a similar ilk to replace it.
My Creditexpert service is now matching me against Natwest and RBS’s purchase card based on my credit report and score indicating a high 20K on purchases for 13 months (These never came up back in June)
Question is it says on natwest's site that you can not apply for the card if you have applied before in the past 6 months, I obviously have…but can I apply for it with RBS?
