Hi, I am claiming for my husband and his offer letter came through from Natwest this weekend, although this is for the full amount claimed he has incurred £344 more in charges since letters were sent to them. He has phoned them this morning and they have said that if a letter stating all further charges accompanies the acceptance letter they will consider the extra.
What I am not sure on is that because he already started MCOL they also told him that if he doesn't accept it will just be handed over to the court process, has anyone else managed to get further charges added on to their official offer or should we just accept the initial amount and forget about the extra?
Any help would be appreciated as I would like to get this letter in the post today.

I would be very very careful of them 'considering the extra' AFTER you send an acceptance letter and the fact that they have advised this by telephone only. You have nothing in writing that the charges will be refunded.
Technically, with no offer in writing for the full amount and MCOL started before they made the offer means you are entitled to interest & court costs now on your original claim if you proceed with court. If you do do not sign anything to say you will accept future charges then you can always reclaim the extra charges afterwards. Protect this ongoing claim at this point and get all correspondence in writing.
Advise them today in writing that you will require the extra charges to be added to any settlement offer they make. Further that you need their final offer in writing for full and proper consideration and pin them down to an exact settlement at this point.
It should be pointed out that unless you alter your claim at court now to reflect the extra charges the bank are under no obligation to settle them and that they do so is purely a negotiation tactic. Make it work for you and good luck

I have had over £1,000 in charges since claming in January. Every week I sent them an updated charge value list itemising all the charges and interest amounts. They haven't acknowledged the follow-up letters so I have been keeping in contact by phone too. They can't seriously expect people to be aware that these charges are wrong and yet continue to pay them. We should be saying, "just you try charging me again, just you dare.." I will be.0
