    Has anyone used ceramicore pans
  • As someone else has already mentioned, TX-MAXX is worth trawling through. I saw a 5-piece circulon 2 set there about 2 weeks ago for £80. I would have been all over it, had i not recently bought a set of analon.

Always check the content of boxes at tk-maxx though.

The other thing is wait for the debenhams blue-cross sales and other reductions. I got my analon 4 piece set there for £63 earlier this year.
  • Don't buy the Circulon pans as they are expensive rubbish. Despite treating them with kid gloves the black coating is coming off at the top where the lid sits!!!!!!!!

We've had similar problems with our pan set - I'm thinking of taking Meyer up on their lifetime warranty. Had ours for about 5 years and most of the non-stick has come off the bottom and sides of the pans (now look totally white), despite only ever using wooden utensils and looking hand washing them. I thought ours was a bad batch, but they might not be if you have found similar :(
I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:

I'm looking for saucepans for an induction hob. Tesco have their Go Cook ones which seen reasonable. £39.79 for a set of 3, has anyone got them? I've also noticed that a lot of saucepans have metal handles, I would think they get hot so prefer insulated ones.

I've had a circulon non-stick casserole pan for about 5 years now. Nothing metal ever touches the inside of it and it's never gone into the dishwasher. I oil it about twice per year. The coating is the same as the day i bought it. Respecting ones tools is something all should learn to do, and testing manufacturers claims will often end with only one loser.
