Anyone else having problems with talktalk email at the moment?

Have had this problem before but it seemed to rectify its self. However I have been unable to receive emails through outlook express all weekend. I keep getting this error message.

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.talktalk.net', Server: 'mail.talktalk.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Is it a problem with talktalk or my computer?

    Looks like talktalk. I've never heard anything good about them. I wouldn't trust a company with no experience of running an ISP with my broadband, never mind my email. I'd recommend switching your email to something like Gmail or Yahoo! at least, and maybe switching to a proper ISP. Outlook Express isn't the best of email clients either, have a look at Thunderbird.

    Try switching everything off, including your broadband modem, for at least 10 minutes, then switch back on & try again.

    It might work, it might not, it's worked for me in the past.
