I'm thinking of signing up my Dad (with his permission of course) for the barclaycard cashback visa card but was wondering how does barclaycard give out the cashback? I'm a cheque every month or is it used as credit on the credit card account? Just need a simple answer thanks

it's a new card so no-one will have one yet but the T&Cs seem to say it's an annual credit to the credit card.0

They credit your account once per year by the looks of it.
How often will he use the card and how much does he spend per year? There might be better cards around, like the Aqua card which is 3% cashback and no fee, but they'll only pay out the first £100.0 -
The old egg cards that were migrated to Barclaycard pay back the cashback into the credit card annually.0

Well he's the main spender of the household, so yeah he spends something like £1000 or more easily and that not including my mums visa card which he pays for too (but luckily she doesn't got crazy)
You say Aqua pay out every time the account holder reaches £100? That's not bad but does this mean you get a cheque or is it credit on the credit card?0 -
