Very old mortgage PPI 20 + years, but missold!

Hi there,
Perhaps you could help, approx 20 years ago I took out my first mortgage with Lloyds, although I was self employed, it was made plain to me that unless I took out PPI, my chances of obtaining a mortgage were neglible, I remonstrated that as I was S/E I wouldn't be able to claim anyway....
But the salesman (mortgage adviser) said it would also cover me for accidental death.. I needed the mortgage so I signed, but the sense of injustice lingers, I dont have any paperwork relating to the mortgage, so where do I start....
Must be worth something by now....

You don't say who sold you the policy - was it a Lloyds TSB adviser or somebody else?
If it was somebody else, then it will be a non-starter.
Even if not, the chances of proving your assertions will be very small after all this time.0 -
