Evening all,
So I'm on 20Mb from VM and have tested the speed with a couple of online speed checkers which have ranged from (10MB to about 17Mb via Wifi) However Youtube and other videosites seem to be struggling buffering all the time, surely even at 10mb this shouldn't be a problem? I've done a malwarebytes scan to see if there are any problems but nothing was found. Wondered if there are any setting which may have got messed up, using windows vista with both firefox and chrome. Cheers

Had Virgin till a few months ago, there was an issue like you describe at peak times (possibly throttling). And then its sometimes browser which is the problem.
Chrome has usually worked faster for youtube - my main browser being Firefox which used to struggle a bit.
Changed to sky broadband, seems to be working bit better than VM.
Try different browsers.0 -
Cheers seem to think its been working ok until the last couple of weeks, checked the service status and there seems to be no problems, so guess it could be that, had thought about changing my router for one of VM's superhubs.0
