Valued Opinions - unable to redeem Amazon vouchers because of Christmas?

I've noticed you haven't been able to select Amazon vouchers as a rewards option for over a week now on Valued Opinions, they claim they "are working as quickly as possible to restore them as a rewards option" but I'm wondering if it's been removed as it's now the run up to Christmas?
I, personally, wouldn't blame Amazon if they've put a stop to claiming Amazon vouchers until after Christmas, as it's no doubt the best time of year for them but I think VO need to be honest and say that. I've already contacted them to ask if it's a genuine problem or if it's because Christmas is coming up.
I would have liked to claim my £30 VO vouchers from Amazon but don't want to wait and wait and wait and find out they've been dishonest and actually had no intention to restore them as a rewards option before Christmas.
Not really a vent, praise or warning - just wondering what other VO users think. I'll let you know what (if any) reply I get from VO.

They prob can't get hold of vouchers at their regular discount rate. A £10 voucher probably costs valued opinions £8 or less.
Its not the end of the world if your can't get vouchers for the tax dodgers.0 -

Wow, I'm not even sure what this means... Did I ever say it was the end of the world? No. I'll probably exchange them for Topshop vouchers or something but Amazon would have been nice. Jesus, I hate people on this site.0 -
amazon vouchers have been on and off the site for a few months now

I was waiting for amazon vouchers myself i had £30 i am wondering how many other members have a lot waiting? In the end i redeemed for Sainsbury vouchers to help towards xmas food etc. I am guessing when they do have them they will run out right away.Jan Wins: .0

I gave up waiting and requested an M&S one instead. Apparently it says on their FaceBook page that the amazon vouchers might be back in at the end of November. Hopefully by then I might have enough points to get another voucher.
I agree, the snotty remark at the end of post #2 was unnecessary and not exactly helpful..0 -
I may be wrong, but in Kite's defence, I read that it's not the end of the world for VO if you can't get your voucher... and that it's them tax dodging?0

Oh well, at least it's not just me then. I'm the same, might just give up and redeem for somewhere else. Thanks!0 -

I saw that about being back at the end of November. I think I will wait a few weeks and if still nothing, I'll redeem for somewhere else. Thanks.0 -

It sounds more like 'it's not the end of the world if you can't get vouchers for the tax dodgers' to me.
Clearly just making unnecessary comments because 1. no, it's not the end of the world and 2. they're implying I'm wrong for wanting vouchers for Amazon because they tax dodge. To be honest, if Amazon is the cheapest place to buy X, Y and Z, then I'm going to buy it from Amazon. Some people might be able to afford to be high and mighty and buy elsewhere but I'm going wherever is cheapest.0
