Halifax Clarity Credit Card

Hi has anybody withdrawn money from this card?

I have not used my £300 limit yet for the £5 cash back this month but my regular account is running low on funds so was wondering how much it would cost to withdraw money from a cash point. I have read q and a and this is what it says on the subject....

Will I get charged interest if I withdraw cash from a cash machine?

You pay interest from the day you withdraw cash, but unlike many other cards, there's no withdrawal fee. Whilst we won't charge you a cash advance fee, some independent cash machine providers may charge a fee for their service.

I don't understand the bit about paying interest from the day you withdraw cash? Will I pay the interest still if I pay the card off as usual in full at the end of the month?

Sorry if this is clear to everybody else, I do have dyslexia which can make some things confusing :-)

There is no interest free period for cash withdrawals even if you pay your bill in full each month, so you will pay interest from the date of withdrawal, until the date it's paid off in full.
Debt free and staying that way!

Cheers! Guess I will be dipping into savings to get cash out to avoid fees :-)
