Pre-agreed buy it now item help please

Hi

An item I was bidding on failed to reach it's reseve price but I have agreed a price with the seller. We would both like the protection of using ebay (plus we don't want to break their rules for selling outside of auctions) Does anyone know how we can set up some kind of buy it now sale limited to just me as the buyer? I am sure they used to offer this facility but can't find anything about it in their help topics?

You can get the seller to set up a pre-approved bidder list with just you on in their preferences:

or couldnt they relist it but put the title just a mix of numbers and letters that only you know?
