Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on the "dream" method of payment for ebay. What do you think an online payment facility should have, from a buyer and seller's point of view? The more specific the better. Also, please don't turn this into an "I hate paypal because..." thread: I only put it in the title because it's the most commonly used one.
I'll start off with some simple ones..
For seller:
Quick transfer of funds from buyer's account to seller's
Payment received from fraudulent use of account is company's responsibility, not the buyers
For buyer:
Easy refunds for non-delivery

For everyone: Better T&Cs, For them to take responsibilities if they accept payment from fraudulent sources
For buyers: sellers can't remove sellers for 30 days so they can't clear out their paypal account when a chargeback is filed. They actually look into claims properly and not just take one persons word
For sellers: Allow better protection from fake claims and allow quicker transfer times.
I remember a while ago when you could pay by debit/credit card but you had to manually enter the card details each time, and as such the card would have to be verified each time so that could provide better protectionTitch
