I need o find a cheaper printer. since the Child transferred over to being home schooled and we've been doing more printing its been costing a fortune to run.
we've currently got an almost three year old Epson Stylus S21. It will not run 3rd party cartridges no matter what I do to them.
And it's annoying that when a colour runs out, this printer wont even print in black and white.
We never print photos, we just need something that will print simple worksheets like this.
all the reviews I can find seem to be based upon photo printing, and that's not what we do. I' considering a Samsing ML2165 laser printer, mainly as I've found a company that sells really cheap refurbished toner. but I need to know, are laser printers worth it?!
thanks for any help at all!!

If you don't need colour, and print a reasonable volume, then yes, a mono budget laser will be much cheaper to run. The Samsungs are good printers. No free lunch, and no free laptop
