I once read somewhere that a dab of gloss paint on the screwhead and then fill. Has always worked for me in the past.
dont use gloss as it is to smooth to stick to
just fill then fill again then rub down and paint. it might happen again but its to be expected and normal. your best bet is to leave for a year and get them all at once or if you want to go nuts this stuff wont fall out.If you want to get with me there's some things you got to know,.

Thanks for all the helpful advise here guys, seems I should leave it a while then sort it, at least it'll stop me hassling my patient joiner! You could have applied a dab of filler in less time than it took you to post.
Must be difficult for you, knowing all the answers to everything, without having t ask advise. As you can see, it's a problem for a lot of people, and I'm glad I asked, and i know the answer now, so it was worth it.
I expected one unhelpful reply within a load of helpful ones, it always happens. I don't get why people feel the need to use up, what I would have thought was valuable time, on a point not worth making, but hey ho.
Cheers all!0 -
This has happened in my loft conversion, I wondered if it was to do with the heat in there, (Insulated to full b regs but still gets hot without windows open) causing the metal screws to expand slightly more than the plaster and cause the bump.0
