Hi All
I received my AD last Sunday. (In a previous post I had said it was the 18th - I don't know why!).
I haven't posted that much, but have lurked quite a lot and the amount of information I have read here has been a massive help to me , not only over the last year since I went bankrupt, also prior to that when I was working out what to do. Thanks everyone for your content on this forum.
Counting down the last few days was a nightmare, I was worrying that I would hear from the OR at the last minute that I wouldn't get the AD. At one point my wife told me off when I said it was '38 hours and 23 minutes to go'.
On the Saturday night my wife had gone to see friends, so I was pleased to be on my own to get my head around the future and countdown to midnight, frequently hitting F5 on the insolvency service website. I had had a couple too many beers, and my wife got home around 12.15 to find me signing 'D.I.S.C.H, A.R.G.E.D' to the tune of 'D.I.S.C.O'.
So, thank you all for your advice on this site, I am sure that there are a lot of people who you never hear from who value your contributions.
