Hi, Advice please...
I want to buy my 8 yr old son a tablet for christmas but not sure which one to get!
I don't want to get anything to young for him (i.e Leapad) but at the same time don't want something that's too complicated. (I need to be able to see what he's doing).
I want it for simple things like Google Maps, Youtube and maybe some child games too (that can be played without connecting to Wifi all the time)
Any advice appreciated

I'm planning the same for my DD too. Read a few threads on here and have decided to go for the Google Nexus - seems to be the optimum of quality, price, suitability for a child and what I am after.
There is a similar thread here ..
