Off topic, but I am looking for ideas to put my mixer to good use. I have been searching on the old-style board, but if anyone has any ideas for idiot-proof recipes using my new mixer, I would be grateful. TIA x

Its great for making up batches of pastry mix to freeze , also meringue`s :D

Oh, we're they only reduced today? If not could of done before midnight last night and got £75.80 off using the 20% code that expired at midnight. I know that doesn't help now but that would of been a amazing bargain, although this is the cheapest price online at the minute, I've been looking recently. I always want the colour that's difficult to find though and won't pick another, stupid girl. Hahaha.

Omg, on first reading I thought OP had managed to buy it for £100. I was so excited (even though I have just bought a kenwood mixer this week, a kitchen aid for £100 would be impossible to resist!).

I read it as this as well, I already have one but thought at that price would get another colour.

I got mine a couple of years ago on Amazon, they really dropped the price and I got a cream one for £199!!

I find mine makes fab cakes (make double and freeze one) and biscuits, even do the pastry in it - think the trick is to find space on the worktop so you can keep it out....

Maybe I've been lucky but any recipe I've chosen has been successful.

hiya miss mollie do you have the classic one,? not the artisan one which is newer and a bit biggerr? read a few reviews and not sure which one to go for so appreciate it if you are talking about the classic one i may go for that one cheers maz
