toolbar disappeared

the one at the top that has file/edit/view on it.was fine when i first started using pc and i cant change anything back cos there's nowt to click onto.totally baffled by this one cos i cant understand how it got like it in the first place-i've only been browsing the net

Right click on the bar at the top and check lock the tool-bar when you get it back.

in all the yrs i've had a pc i din t know that existed! so how do i get that toolbar back???? i've just checked display on this ( i still have the one page where i have the toolbar) and that option is already ticked.still dunno how it changed

Hi,

if you are using IE7, click the wee Tools down arrow,



highlight menu bar and click, then go back to Toolbars, and click lock the toolbars.

using IE6 btw.restarted the pc and everything's back to normal.havent a clue what happened.
