What do i do now?

Hello im new to this forum,
im currently trying to reclaim bank charges from HSBC and i have got to the stage where i have recieved a letter from the bank stating that they are looking into my claims of unfair bank charges. is this a good sign or are they just trying to fob me off? please help.

Hi i reclaimed my charges from hsbc (now trying to reclaim from second acc with them) they sent me the same letter saying they were looking into it and they would be in touch in x amount of days and once the time was nearly up they repaid me! so its a good sign

hi thanks for that but they did not state an actual date only that they were looking into it!
my original letter was dated 1st April and they replied on the 11th so do i give them another 2 weeks and see what happens, even though the 2 weeks i gave them have elapsed?

on my leter it said that they would be in touch within 28 days and were true to there word so hopefully it will be the same with you, i'd give it 28 days from the date of there reply before chaseing them up.
