Malwarebytes(a favour from someone who uses it)

Evening all,

Earlier i tried to do my weekly Malwarebytes scan, tried to update and it just hangs on the connecting to server. It doesnt do anything at all.
I tried uninstalling it and then installed it again but i get the same thing i can't seem to update it.

Everything else is working ok, internet is fine, Avast is updating just not Malwarebytes.

Can someone check to see if they can update theirs and then i know if its a problem with my computer.

Just updated: 2012.11.10.10 (about 6 small updates).

There were reported problems with updates but it appears sorted now.

I read that others were having issues updating, i still think there is some sort of problem though.

I updated fine this morning and ran a scan ok, Daughter has just tried on her laptop and it's just hanging on connecting to server then says not responding. Tried on my pc to see if it is just her laptop and i cannot update now either. Husband can't update on his laptop.

As i said internet working just fine, avast updating normally just seems to be a problem with some not being able to update on Malwarebytes whilst others can fine. :undecided

At least our household is not alone.:rotfl: Seems to be an intermittent problem?

There are reported intermittent problems by some - but not all - in the MBAM forums. They appear to be working on it.
