New York Inspired Gifts......

Hi all
My mum, stap-dad, and little sister (16) are coming to stay for Christmas this year. 'The Wean' as I still call her as she is 15 years my junior, is going to New York in March with the school (they didn't have trips like that when I was at school - told mum I'm holding my hand out for my equal sum of cash lol (only joking BTW)).
Anyway, I held back on The Wean's birthday this year, and she's only getting a small something for Christmas and Birthday next year, but I am going to do her a Christmas Stocking with some US Dollars stuffed in the very bottom of it.

Can anyone help me out with ideas of what to put in the stocking? I don't want to spend too much since she is getting a good amount of dollars and current ideas area:

a Big Apple
packet of micro Pop corn
tin of Hot dogs
packet of Pretzels
Travel adaptor plug
re-useable Shopping bag (to buy me a present hehe)

Luggage tag (so she remembers her name and what her bag looks like!)

Naked cowboy postcard from ebay

M&Ms
Hersheys
Bagel

I have been there twice but trying to put all I have seen into little stocking filler gifts isn't easy! I'd like some of them to be useful when she is away aswell as being able to use/eat some of them at home.

Thanks folks. Thought about Statue of Liberty, Empire State of Building, and Taxi inspired stuff but don't know how easy it would be, will have to see what I can find. Budget will be about £20 tops for the lot.....

I saw some New York inspired prints in Dunelm-mill the other day,.I was looking for a British inspired one which I found and paid £4 for so I think the others were about the same, similar things to the one in the link below but they had loads more in the shop.

What about some mini bottles for the plane-toothpaste, mouthwash, body lotion, lip balm etc in a nice little make up bag. A document wallet might also be good.

The Moleskine notebook guide to New York is very nice.

Also for something a bit different, Muji do a wooden model of New York you build/put together. Theres a 10% voucher at the mo.

home alone lost in new york dvd good xmas film too for big kids at heart, maybe small dkny tester or perfume, sex in the city themed stuff, im sure i saw the perfume in poundshop/homebargains ( is set in ny)

you could make a cd with ny inspired songs or buy a cheap mp3 and upload them for her, we had a new york comp at work recently, unfortunately i was due the week we were meant ot go so couldnt enter so heard loads of songs... alicia keys empire state of mind, frank sinatra ny ny, fairy tale of new york by the pogues, big yellow taxi,englishmen in new york sting, kids in america kim wylde, just some examples may be a bit too old though xx
