Please check your local store, as i dont think all stores are selling these. And some of the larger store are selling them on 2 different dates. Glasgow and Gateshead is selling them on 1st and the 8th December, Edinburgh just the 1st December.
Lakeside is doing "A FREE Christmas tree for the first 25 IKEA FAMILY members through the door on Saturday 1st December 2012."
I wonder if the voucher can be used in their Xmas sale???
Check out the Xmas buffet event "JULBORD" is Swedish for Christmas. During the festive season, the Swedes look forward the Christmas buffet months ahead. There are so many things on the menu that everyone is sure to find at least something they like!
Traditionally, you start with the cold dish such as herring and salmon, moving on to the iconic Christmas ham, meatballs and other warm dishes before rounding off with desserts and sweets and perhaps a glass of steaming hot mulled wine."

Show your family card and get a foot free on your tree.
This is on the Crdiff Ikea web site. I guess it means you get a 5ft tree for the price of a 4ft or 7ft tree for the price of a 6ft tree etc as long as you show your family card.0 -
I was in ikea southampton today and was told... this saturday they have 1000 real christmas trees to sell at £25 each but if you buy one you will get a £20 voucher off your next shop.

Have they done this kind of deal before? Or has anyone ever bought a Christmas tree from ikea before? Just wondering what type of trees they are (ie are they the ones that drop needles really quickly?) TIA0

We looked at Ikea last year and they were being sold outside the store by another company and not actually IKEA.
They were very expensive, the non needle drop type and quite small for the money.
I would imagine this offer is something different to what they normally sell as they will probably be getting in a much greater quantity, and I would not think for £25 they would be the non drop ones as they are usually a lot more than that, but we shall see.
Googled Nordmann Firand and it seems they are non-drop.0 -
Bit confused, i thought all the trees were the same price, but different sizes. And left up to you to decide what size. Is it maybe a free foot as in stand to hold the tree?A smile and manners doesnt cost any thing0
