Vax Libretto hand held cleaner not recharging

I have a Vax Libretto cordless hand held cleaner (dustbuster type thing) that appears to have stopped recharging.

I've had it on the charger for 2 days and there's no more power now than when I started it.

Is it now completely useless or can you get new batteries for them. I can't get anywhere googling, just keeps coming up with places to buy a new one.

I've only had it about 2 years so I'm a bit miffed if it's given up the ghost already.

Looks like you cannot get a new battery - put it down to experience and get a better vaccum

I have got a better vacuum for the big jobs. This is just a small hand held one for little jobs like just clearing up the odd bit of cat litter that gets kicked out of the tray occasionally, not worth getting the big vacuum out for that.
