Asbestos tiles broken

Hi all,
I recently had an outbuilding removed from my farm, which was had asbestos tiles in the roof. It was done by licensed contractors.
The outbuilding was very close to our house and I noticed that within bricks and rubble left from the first day's work, there were bits of broken asbestos tiles. These were subsequently separated from the rubble and disposed of property, however, while they were laying within the rubble, do you think they were posing any danger to us?
I just ask, because people say that asbestos tiles are fine until they are broken?
Thanks.

In all honesty - the broken tiles would have posed a minimal risk to you or your family, the mere mention of ACM's and everyone panics, please dont panic. You may click thanks if you found my advice useful0

Ours from the garage roof broke too, to minimise fibres in the air we kept the area damped down.. Unsure how effective this is, but it seems to be a commonly used method by builders.0
