    ah yes! in fact a 2008 sale is likely to be a very good sale, PPI complaints were increasing them, you may well find there is a paper audit trail that would defend the sale as firms were being more cautious. the adviser would have completed a fact find, a demands and needs statement, completed a separate application. you tend the find the older sales were the worst as it was a case of sign here and thats it.
