Built in double oven

Hi.We are looking at re doing our kitchen. One plan includes having the hob adjacent to the cooker switch for wiring reasons but the built in oven on the other side of the kitchen.
All of the ovens we are looking at are around 1kw or less, so can it be plugged into a regular socket to make fitting easier?
Thanks

I really regret having my hob and oven on opposite sides of the kitchen.
I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your question.0 -
Those figures are 'energy consumption' which is how much electricity is used when cooking a certain standard thing for a certain time. All of the ovens we are looking at are around 1kw or less, so can it be plugged into a regular socket to make fitting easier?
They are NOT the rating of the appliance.
Some single ovens can be plugged in, these are typically 2.5 or 3kW.
A double will require hardwiring to a dedicated circuit, as they are typically around 5kW, sometimes more.0
