Garden play equipment

Would anyone have any advice on childrens garden climbing frames etc?
I'd like to put some things at the end of our garden for my 3 boys, looking at second hand things on eBay, or should I stick to new?
I'm looking at wooden tower things, climbing frames, slides etc.
and putting rubber clippings down.

Many (most) of the larger ones you need to either concrete legs in or use suitable griound fixings to secure. Ensure you have adequate clearance around the equipment and try to minimise any neighbour disturbance with overlooking fences etc with towers. Also careful if any planning needed for raised towers if you have any "interested" neighbours for instance
Nothing wrong with second hand wooden or metal stuff but you will want to check out condition and usually you'll need to dismantle and transport and put back together. Good thing about wooden stuff is obviously you can replace certain parts and paint/stain it to give it a new lease of life
Probably good time of year to search out some garden bargains0
