parking ticket with non existent address

hi,
i recieved a parking ticket outside my house a few weeks ago. we have a parking permit system but my permit must have dropped down or the warden was just being blind!! anyway... the ticket said i was parked outside an address that doesnt exist. My road changes name part way down the street and they put the wrong road name and the road name they put doesnt have a number 38 which is where the ticket said i was parked. As the address doesnt exist does this invalidate the ticket?
I have appealed but they said it would take 12-16 weeks to reply so i was just wondering where i stand

Wrong locaion is fatal.
They will cancel the PCN once they realise this.0 -
Assuming it's a council ticket ( you don't actually say ) then you'll win. How can you have parked at a non-existent address ? You may need to take it to adjudication but I'd place a large bet on you winning.All aboard the Gus Bus !0
