So, I've got another ticket for parking without paying. Genuine mistake, completely forgot to do this online after I had got on the train.
I use the carpark regularly and have always paid.
I've been told that the laws have changed and the tickets are now enforceable? But after coming on here I'm getting confused!
The other thing is that I am not the registered keeper of the car, my mum is.
Here's the ticket: (sorry i didnt know how to make it smaller!)

I just want some reassurance on what I am suppose to do next and if i need to pay it!
Thanks

Nah its still unenfoceable bollox, the only difference now is they are allowed to send all there toilet paper to the RK instead of the driver, and theres an Appeal Process caled POPLA, which we dont rate, but if you appeal its costs them £32 and you nothing, and the result isnt binding on you, so if it went against you, you just carry on ignore and tell them to take you to court and they are back to square one with all there usual problems they have trying to enforce there rubbish in the first place, ie no contract, its a penalty charge etc etc.0

I have no doubt the PPCs are pedalling this lie, in an attempt to make their fake charges more legitimate. But in actual fact, nothing changes in the (in)ability of PPCs to enforce their notices.0 -
I can't see how they can invoke POPLA when they haven't followed the BPA Code of Practice (the discount needs to be a minimum of 40% and they've offered 33.3%).
Ignore this rubbish ticket.Je Suis Cecil.0 -
They can only claim for their loss, which would be how many hours you were there for X circa £2 an hour or whatever the charge is, anything more is a penalty, you could simply offer that , which will be refused of course as they want the illegal penalty, but you are trying to mitigate their losses. Or you could just ignore them.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -

I bought a parking ticket for two hours and paid and displayed accordingly. I overstayed by 20 minutes. Parking is £1 an hour and NCP have given me a Parking Contravention Charge Notice of £50 (pay withing 28 days or £100 after that)
I've got the letter template from this website writing: According to theUnfair Consumer Contract Regulations, parking fines on private land must notexceed the cost to the landowner during the period the motorist is parked there."In my case, the £50/£100 charge I was asked for, far exceeds the cost to thelandowner of £1 per hour, which means Iwould have needed to be parked there for 50 to 100 hours justify the charge.
Should I offer to pay the £1 or leave the letter at that?
What are my likely chances of success?0 -

Because if they ever did you can show that you offered them their loss, which would the number of hours there unpaid, or the daily rate which IMO would be fair. If you showed a letter from ncp refusing their loss in a small claims , I would think that ncp would have a very difficult job in winning anything. NCP does do court in a very very small minority of cases.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors.
