Hi,
I had 3 months free trial with lovefilms which is due to be ended end of this month.
Has anyone contacted lovefilms to cancel the account? and have they offered any other promotions?
Thanks
M

You can contact them to cancel. They will carry on billing your credit card...0

is that supposed to be 'cant'?0

no PBA was saying LoveFilm have a reputation for carrying on billing you even though you want out!0

I cancelled my account with lovefilm and they said I had to send back all titles I had by a set date, which was fine I had 2 weeks and I posted them back next day. Only problem was they "supposedly" sent me another title AFTER I had cancelled, which never turned up. Did it exist
Informed them several times as they kept billing my account, just kept getting standard emails back which had nothing to do with what I asked. Finally I had to close my bank account, now I get bills from lovefilm.
I would'nt recommend anyone even sign with lovefilm.Did you know you can get Viagra software now??? Yeah, it turns your floppy drive into a hard drive0 -
Does anybody know what Blockbuster are like? I registered with them for a months trial. I've had 3 DVDs over the weekend, posting them back today and should get some more. Blockbuster are ok, but not a wide variety of titles, just new stuff and top titles only.
Easy to cancel though.Did you know you can get Viagra software now??? Yeah, it turns your floppy drive into a hard drive0 -
The best way to ensure that the account cancels corrrectly is to remove everything from your queue BEFORE you send your last disks back - Once the disks show as being received, then cancel.
This way they cannot claim to have not received a disk or send another one out to try and extend the subscription" He who knows does not speak. "He who speaks does not know. Lao-tzu Chinese philosopher (604 BC - 531 BC)

Don't work, I had none in my queue when I cancelled, they said that because I had less than 10 unique titles they selected one of their choice.
They do that with my friend too but he's still with them.Did you know you can get Viagra software now??? Yeah, it turns your floppy drive into a hard drive0 -

They must have recently introduced this system - explains why I keep getting disks i cant remember selecting - Will have to make sure I try to cancel a couple of weeks in advance next time" He who knows does not speak. "He who speaks does not know. Lao-tzu Chinese philosopher (604 BC - 531 BC)

I've heard amazon are really good, they have an excellent back catalogue, only thing that puts me off is that it works out quite expensive.
Anybody on here recommend them?Did you know you can get Viagra software now??? Yeah, it turns your floppy drive into a hard drive0
