Thanks, so in the letter of complaint I need to ask them to transfer the old account to domestic? Also is there any way I can find out the domestic rates and check if there were charges in the first half of 2011?

    Thanks again :)

They will still need to change supplier though even if its internal BG , as their systems wont have the tariff within it on business at res rates.

Yes, same with Npower. It just means a bit more work to create manual bills to domestic rates and adding debt adjustments to balance it.

Yes, from your ownership as domestic, that's what you should pay. So, they need to use the domestic prices through that period and rebill you.

If they need to transfer enitity, it occurs in the same way as a switch so it takes some time and the usual final bill is generated on the old entities billing system.

This is all their problem though and they should inform you what needs to happen and how long it could take. You need to ensure that you are billed throughout all periods on domestic rates.

Suggest looking on their website for previous prices as sometimes t&c pages have information, Google for prices at that time, ask them, etc. Its likely it will be their standard rates. You might find some threads on here quoting the rates if you search for Bgas threads. You could argue that products at the time were not possible to access as they insisted on commercial billing so it may be possible to get more back...but that's a bit of haggling.
