re-kindle font size

Hi Guys, got a kindle touch, bought it July.
Font size keeps changing,on it,s own;;; how do you alter it.
Tried via the menu, but nothing there.
Could I be doing it by touching the screen at bottom left, which is when it changed last night,when turning page back ?
Advice grateful.

If you have the Touch and are changing the text size using the 'pinch to zoom' method with your fingers, this is correct. To have the text size change be permanent across all books you need to change it using the menu option.

However if this is not the case I'm afraid your not alone, ALOT of kindle customers are having this problem and its down to the epublishers really, they just want to sell they haven't fixed this as far as i know.

Maybe google may help I'm unsure but i do know alot of kindle users have this problem and it can be frustrating every chapter the font changing.

hi paddy, thanks for the reply.I thought it was just me.I did,t know about pinch and zoom? thanks, that works;;I have not done that, but some books are different sizes, and change at will.much appreciated:
I can alter it now beer:
there is nothing in the menu about font size.

Glad that helped, If books still change after pinch and zoom (like after each chapter) all i can say is i think thats down to the publisher, this is the common problem alot of readers have and i do not know a solution for that.

Otherwise I'm glad I've helped somewhat.

FYI
To change font size (and a bunch of other things font related) you have to be in a book, not the home screen. tap the top of the screen and at the bottom left you will see a button marked Aa. Tap that and you can change the font.
But it's much easier using the pinch/spread as suggested by Paddy:)

I thought I tried pinch & zoom and it didn't work!

I have found that different books come with different font sizes.

Hi prowla. I didn,t know about the pinch and zoom, but mine works with it.
Some of my books come with different sized font, just didn,t know you had to be into the book to alter it.just found that out too.
