I think my PC may needa new motherboard battery.

The clock keeps telling weird and erronious times. Any idea how much a new motherboard battery costs and where I can get one?

Hi,

if it is the battery (CR 2032), you will be able to get one locally, it's the same type wee battery that works many things, in my case the wee gadget on my cycle that tells me how far or how fast I have cycled, only about £1.50, as already stated.

Oh, and easy fitted.

I never thought I chucked out a disused de-funct mother-board recently, I should have took the battery off, never entered my head,

Your local pound shop will probably sell them, big pack of batteries for just a pound.
