Toshiba tv viewing problem

:wave: Hi All,
I have had this Toshiba 50wt29B rear projection TV for a while but lately I have had problems when watching tv , the picture appears to lose its horizontal hold and starts scrolling and I can only bring it back by turning the TV on and off a number of times.
it did a few days ago start turning itself off before this happened, any ideas??
dreading a repair bill...
