Help - Hair Dye!

Hi all,
Just need a bit of advice - again lol
I dyed my hair black yesterday, as I was feeling tired last night, I figured leaving the cleaning of the bathroom til today wouldn't make much difference
I was wrong - there are black stains everywhere... Have tried scrubbing them with stardrops to no avail and as the majority of my bathroom is white, it is very noticeable...
Any ideas on how to remove black hair dye from bathroom units
Next time will not be as lazy and clean straight after
Thanks all in advance!

oh I have done this so many times lol
I find that a cream cleaner will shift it off the bath, sink or toilet. I also managed to get in on the tile grout and found that some bleech on an old toothbrush got it off.
now if only I could find something to get it off my forehead, ears, arms lol0 -
lol managed to get it off ears and forehead with nail polish remover - didn't work on bath tho!!
Will try cream cleaner now, thanks!

Hi,
Does anyone know how I can get hair dye out of bathroom tile grouting?!
Thanks,
Jane x0 -
How about bleach and an old toothbrush? Must admit though ive never had to clean hair dye, my girls have ruined a few of my towels though, bleaching their hair:mad: .

There's a 'pen' that goes over the grouting to change the colour/brighten it.
Here's one at Focus:

I'd imagine you'd be able to get it at all DIY stores, or even somewhere like Wilkinsons or Woolworths.

Hi Janey,
There's an earlier thread that might help so I've added your thread to it to keep all the suggestions together.

i don't know about carpets but my hairdresser said a tiny bit more dye on top will shift the older stain so then you can clean with normal cleaner ifswim it works on my bath!total debt at lightbulb 18th April 2007:idea: £42367.60:eek: DFW Nerd No 725.
