During Money Saving, I decided to dye my hair at home! Big mistake!!!
I now have hair dye on my white gloss door and it won't come off!! Also on my beige carpets!
Please .... what can I use to get rid of the stains??
Hopefully someone can help!

I've managed to get John Frieda colour glaze on my white bath (I live in a rented apartment so this is not good!), it's left lovely purple stains which I've scrubbed with scouring pads, bleach, flash and stardrops but still can't shift.
Any ideas on how I can get my bath white again?Trying to sort my life out, and I'm going to get there!0 -
Astonish Oxy (small plastic tub, designed to add to washing powder) can be mixed with just enough water to make a paste, which I left on a similar stain overnight, and after a second application it had faded to almost nothing.0

Jif/Cif/Vim whatever they want to call it usually works on getting hair dye off the bath, tip from my friend who's a hairdresser. Nail varnish remover (acetone based) works if it's really stubborn, hairspray probably would too but have never tried it.One day I might be more organised...........

glad to see you solved your problem.
Just for future reference, I once died my sisters white plastic bath bright pink. She had some luminous yellow Flash floor liquid which brought the marks straight out.
I have an enamel bath which I just bleach now.
MethererNot heavily in debt, but still trying to sort things out.

Dyed my hair last night.. didn't realise that some of the dye leaked!
Now there's a big red splotch on the bathroom lino
I've tried soaking it with bleach to no avail.
Any ideas? I'm desperate!
I've got hair dye bleach kit (developer and powder).. would that work? Oven cleaner? Alcohol?
Thanks guys!0 -
