    Hi All

Hope everyone had a good day. No spend for me, as expected, however work has suggested we all go out to lunch tomorrow at a very nice if slightly expensive restaurant

That will end up more than £10, we've just been on hol and spent money (budgetted but still), I don't really know them that well (part-time newbie that I am) and I don't get paid till the end of the month. DH has said he'll pay but I don't want to do that sooo how do I refuse without giving any of the above reasons or do I speak to the head honcho give her/him the reasons and a refusal and leave it at that

Ideas and suggestions welcome, sensible ones please ZTD :rotfl:

I'd be tempted to just say, sorry can't afford it I'm a bit skint after my holiday and leave it at that. It's a shame you're not going to the pub, as then atleast you could just have a drink.

No spend day for me :) Have to go to the post office tomorrow lunchtime, so that'll be dangerous.

    Why?

DH's wages pay all the bills and my part-time money makes up any shortfalls, gets saved for hols or is used for extra's like decorating. He only has about £50 (at the most and not every time) left at the end of the month for himself so I try not to borrow if I can :D
