I need to return a phone to o2 and can't as according to them, I am Tom, not Tracy.
Phone posted to Tracy and paid for by Tracy but account says Tom for some bizarre reason.
No-one will help, they promise calls back but I never get one.
Apparently they can't discuss the non-existent Tom with me due to data protection.
Near the end of my tether now tbh. To make it worse I can't log in on line, several hours trying to sort this out over a week and still no joy.

Phone up. Put on a deep voice and say that you're Tom?0

Alternatively, tell them no-one called Tom lives at your address, and therefore this phone must be unsolicited or fraudulent, therefore all bills will be returned unpaid and unless they correct the information they have, you will contact the ICO with regards to them breaking the data protection act by holding records which they know to be inaccurate.
You may have more luck putting something in writing to the CEO?0 -
