Hitachi TV colour help...

We have a Hitachi TV about 5 years old.
About 5 months ago we paid to get it fixed as it was stuck in standby mode.
Now we have no colour. The strange thing to me is the teletext is very definatly in colour!

I have checked that the settings are as should be, but the colour did disappear half way through a program.

Now, do you think this is worth while getting fixed again, or should we give up and buy a new one?!?

Thanks in advance

TVs are generally so cheap now that repairing them is something that [sadly] is becoming rarer.
I work for a company that uses 100,s of 14" CRT TVs every year
When they come into the workshop with a fault, the technician has 30mins to repair it - if the repair time goes over 30mins it's aborted & the TV is scrapped, even if it's only a few weeks old.
Sounds criminal & very un-green but that's the effect of high labour costs & low material costs.
