BT fault not being serviced

I recently had a great deal of noise and hearing others dialling out on our BT home phone line.

The fault tracking says it in their system but this can't be serviced in three days but at least seven!!

This is pretty poor as I use the house phone and broadband (Orange over BT) for all my contact especially as I am disabled.

How can this process be speeded up, please?

TIA

Vigman

Unless you have a SLA,which you get optional with Business contracts, you can't,sorry.
Thing is you have a working service, albeit affected,so that puts you down the list. Not to mention that this is the busy time of year & the's only so many engineers to go around.

If disabled, have you registered with the Priority Fault Repair service?
Otherwise 7 days is very much the norm.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
