Right you NI mse'ers I need your help
I'm getting married in August and DH to be and I would like a short break on our own
. We are going away later with kids and parents.
Any recommendations? We'd like to stay in NI as we are flying to Europe a week after the wedding. A lot of the stuff I've looked at so far is costing in and around £300 - £400 for 3 nights in Belfast
Where's the best places to stay? In the city would be ok but we like the idea of being out and away somewhere just to chill out too.
Waiting hopefully on your ideas

The Manor House, enniskillen.
They do some great two nights with one evening meal, deals. Lovely bar, great setting, great restaurant, great barfood, swimming pool, fitness suite, sauna.
Been there twice already this year for long weekends :-)0 -
The Bushmills Inn. It is gorgeous. I went there with friends in January. It's a great chill out hotel and apparently it's near to some scenic places but I didn't leave the hotel it was so cosy! I'm saving up to go back again.
It might come in at £300 - £400 though.Stercus accidit0 -

Hi ark,
Favourites of ours for just the two of us are the Radisson roe park hotel in limavady or the Burrendale in Newcastle. Both have a pool, sauna, steam rooms etc and decent restaurants. Also with both it's worth going for a superior room (and doesn't cost too much extra) for a special occasion.

If you wanted to travel down south then I'd recommend the Royal Hotel, Bray! Great wee place, lovely beach to wander down, leisure facilities there are top notch, the restaurant is lovely and they do a number of funky deals. Really nice restaurant across from it too doing Indian/Thai/Italian dishes and one next door doing Chinese! Some beautiful walks aroubd too ... my wife and I were there a week ago and had an awesome time!
check it out at: https://www.royalhotel.ie
Hope you get sorted, very interested in hearing others ideas too ... might pinch a couple as well!! :rotfl:£10 a day in November = £593.31 / £3000 -
If you want to chill you could rent a cottage in Donegal or similar. It would cost probably around £300 for a week if you wanted a bit longer (or kids could join you for the weekend etc). some are very luxurious and you could stock up on treat food from M&S or go somewhere with a good restaurant nearby. If you want peace and quiet and time together it beats a hotel any day. I've used Donegal Cottage Holidays website a few times now and haven't been disappointed.0

I second the Bushmills Inn. i stayed there for one night of my honeymoon.
I had my reception at the Crawfordsburn Inn and we stayed in their little cottage which is lovely. lots of nice walks and beaches nearby and only about 10 miles from Belfast.0 -
Could also be an idea to wait a while and check out laterooms.com ... they've usually some pretty good deals! :j£10 a day in November = £593.31 / £3000

I second the Radisson Roe Park - easily the best place I've ever stayed in in N.I.
And have the baked cheesecake - if they still do it!0
