Replacing a hot water timeswitch

My current timeswitch had these horrible "tappets" and I've managed to lose all but one of the cold water pegs.
In true money saving fashion, I've acquired a new timeswitch which looked awfully similar to the one I currently have for a tenner.
I thought this would be an easy job to rewire the new one in, but I'm a bit confused on what goes where because the labels on the wires are a bit different. Also, the new timeswitch has no plugs for the valve/act and cyl/stat bits - how do I get wires onto these? I guess I need some extra bits here.
Here's what my current timeswitch looks like:

The installation instructions for the new timeswitch are here: http://www.sunvic.co.uk/Electromechanical%20Programmers/LE_0494_0005_03w.pdf
Thanks for reading, hopefully you can help!

I would get an expert in, you only have space for 7 wires on the new one, the old has 130

Hi
If you look at the new installation instructions you will see that it needs a 10 way junction box, externally to the timer.
The original timer had this built in .
You might need professional help (as said)
If you go it alone then make sure you fit a 3 amp fuse to the electrical supply (plug or fused switch) If you use 13amp it will vaporise circuitry in the event you get a wrong connection!!
PS. It does mention a qualified electrician on the wiring instructions.

Don't think the new time clock is compatible (directly)
As said elsewhere most timeclocks are wired to wiring centre nowadays.
The old clock has actuator and cyl stat connections.
The new one doesn't.baldly going on...0
