When issuing a refund..

Do you have to refund postage also?

I sent an item on 30th October first class and has not arrived with the buyer yet, which sounds ominous and stupidly can't find the proof of postage slip - I've sold quite a few bits over the last weeks and didn't take good enough care/ organisation of the slips :(

Anyway, I've asked them to check with their sorting office but I assume it's gotten lost and I will refund. My question is, do I have to refund the full amount paid including postage? Or just the amount for the item?

many thanks,
pippitypip

A good rule of thumb if you aren't sure....

If you were in their shoes, what would you want?

I'm guessing you would want all the money back. :D
