How much elect does a TV use?
Comments
-
If you find out the model number and find the spec sheets on Google it will tell you in watts how much it uses turned on and in standby. My 22" uses about 40 watts, my 40" uses about 80 watts both of these are LCD though so LED will be lower again.
so with elec about 13p per kwh the large one is about 1p per hour, the smaller one 0.5p per hour0 -
40 inch LED uses about 70W.. So electricity 1 hour consumption of 0.070kWh.
A figure for 22 inch LED is about 35W, 65 inch LED about 110W.
The figures can vary , not everybody's TV is set up the same way.. some people like brighter settings some do not. So +-10W0 -
Ok that's very helpful, thanks both
