Best place to buy quality leather sofas?

After looking at the usual DFS, Harvey's etc we decided on a Laura Ashley leather sofa. We found a seconds outlet in Liverpool called National Brands (they have a website). They stocked L/A, M & S & john Lewis sofas all at less than half price.
We bought last year & so far have withstanded 4 children & a dog, we are extremely pleased with the quality of leather & of course the price.
Hope this is of some help.0 -
I would highly recommend reclinersdirect.com.
Lovely leather, good prices and they delivered to Northern Ireland for me.
They seemed to be both professional and also very friendly.0 -

They still look brand new today.
They were not their normal 'sale' or 'heavily discounted' stock.
They cost quite a lot (£2,400) but you only had to sit on them, feel the quality of proper leather and feel the weight and look at the quality of how ther were made.
Think value for money over 20 years, not cheap or bargain.
Do make sure you physically see and sit on what you are going to buy, don't just buy from a picture in catalogue.
Have to agree with you.......i got a 3 seater & 2 chairs (£2,500) about 5 years ago and it still looks like new, 4 teenagers and a dog, im well made up with it, fantastic quality.0 -

gotta agree we paid 900 for 2 seater 3 seater recliner and recliner chair didnt have room for chair so sold it on ebay for 100 and it was much better than the ones u see in homebase etc for double price (recliner chair) so only cost us 800 and has been less if you buy in sales they have also gotta say quailty is great we have a very heavy staffordshire bull terrier who has always been allowed on couch so didnt want to stop it and it has survived(the couch not the dog lol) without any problems
defo would buy from again0 -
best quality from Harvey's!
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I bought a leather sofa from Harveys about 4 years ago and it was a nightmare. They quoted 4-8 weeks for delivery, it took 3 months and quality wise, the sofa hasn't aged well at all. There's only me, a small child and the occasional visitors but the padding's saggier than Jodie Marsh's boobs! One of the seats has a dip so bad you think you're sitting in a bucket and the seats are so rubbish my loose change doesn't even fall between them so no nice little suprises either! (Unless you count a decapitated power ranger and enough crumbs to rebuild a loaf....)My mind not only wanders .......... sometimes it leaves completely0 -

dont buy from harveys! I bought a chair from them 2 years ago, with a 5 year warranty. A part of the chair has broken (the metal arm on recliner) and they are refusing to fix it - despite it being covered under warranty. Been to trading standerds - next stage is court - bad company imo.Never do things tomorow when you can do them today.0 -
Personally, I would go to John Lewis, Laura Ashley or M&S.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
