The admin costs are reasonable, much better than the hire companies at £30 plus.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Except that they are descibed as "wages" and presumably whoever is printing, folding and posting the threatograms gets paid a wage regardless of how many letters they actually have to do ..so again this is a business cost not a loss.0 -

A judge in a recent civil loss recovery case called these "core duties", which have to be paid regardless of any extra expenses. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

In the case of trespass, this is illegal under the Legal Services Act 2007, as they are not lawyers. In the case of contract law, they have no proprietary interest in the land as per VCS v HMRC.
As for the rest of the letter, I see it as a threat to issue a claim against the registered keeper, despite being told that they were not driving. This is in breach of the BPA code and I would be drawing the DVLA's attention to this.
Who knows, they may get a ban for it.Je Suis Cecil.0 -

So whats does the ticket warden do if he isn't issues flyersFor everthing else there's mastercard.
For clampers there's Barclaycard.0 -
They seem to be basing their costs on the tickets they issue, when surely it should be based on each car that parks in the car park?
£6.64 per day for each car that parks just to maintain the signage? Surely they're running at a massive loss in a free (or cheap) car park, if no one gets a ticket? They would be losing £64.71 for every car that parked in the car park.0 -

We ll he ought to be acting to mitigate the landowners loss but since there isn't usually any loss we must presume he is getting paid for doing jack ....:rotfl:0 -

Of course that is the one big hole in any PPC business model. The only way they can make a profit is by demanding illegal penalty charges. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
The wages, cost of signs, etc. are operational costs and are sunk (i.e. they incur them regardless of if they issue a ticket or not). They cannot be losses incurred as a result of errant parking.Je Suis Cecil.0
