Thank you for a giggle, sad to be working rather than randomly checking for stuff I don't want...but great to catch up on this thread!!!

And shame on anyone who forgot Peter Jones's striped socks...they were very popular IIRC :-)

I was looking at bomb cosmetics in a shop today and they are so pretty! The set I was going to buy was £7 in a cardboard cracker containing 3 items, so I am happy to get 5 items for £7.50. iirc amazon had more than one set on sale last year, so I'm going to keep an eye out for more because I think the one I bought would suit me much better than the 16 year old I bought it for :D

Just a warning with these - be careful with sensitive skin. I'm really bad, and have tried these and they set my skin off really bad. This surprised me because they use similar ingredients on the whole to lush and I've had very few problems with lush products - just make sure you test on sensitive skin before getting in a bathful for an hour.

My daughter would break them within a week. I got some of the £15 ones from TKMAXX that were suppose to last 15 years, i told her i would give her £100 if they still worked in a year, they lasted a month :rotfl:

  • On the subject of US Black Friday madness, I presume most of you havn't been to an NCT toys or kids' clothing sale? :D It's carnage of the highest order, you need pointy elbows, an empty pushchair (kids would just slow you down) and quick feet. I volunteer for my local one so I get a good look at the stuff for sale the night before - then I write a list of all the things I want in a logical order from the door to waste as little time as possible. And I admit, in the past if there's an item I really really want, I have on occasion hidden it somewhere random amongst unrelated items. :o It's chaos and I love it - the next one is this saturday funnily enough. :)

But I digress. Waiting for zumba time!
